Your site needs to convey to your visitors a sense of professionalism and competence. This helps instill trust with your visitors. And since many of your visitors will be navigating to your website for the first time, their first impressions can turn them into long time buyers. Professional graphics can be that powerful.

If you don't believe me look at your competitor's websites. I guarantee the successful ones are professionally designed and pleasing to look at.

Visitors don't know you yet. You have no track record with them. It is just as easy to hit the "back" button and browse some more until they come to a site that catches their eye and makes them want to stop for a second so they can read some of the copy.

A well designed site with pleasing graphics is one of the ways to get their attention in order to present your copy. From there they will look at your headline text and content paragraphs which will reinforce their sense of trust and their willingness to convert into a buyer.

A few years ago, when selling on the internet was in its infancy and competition was much less, the belief was to just put up any old webpage with lots of copy. Many believed as long as they had "killer" copy the uglier the page looked the better it converted. Today with so much competition in the online marketplace the way the site looks visually is just as important as the sales copy you have on your page.

It is hard to deny that many of your visitors will make a purchasing decision based on feelings and wants rather than needs.

Research has shown that visitors purchase first with emotions and then with logic. The first thing they will see when they initially visit your site is the way that it looks. This must trigger their emotional side to want them to stop, browse your site and read your sales copy. And then it is the job of the copy on your pages to convert them into buyers.

But to have a designer design a site is expensive. I charge a basic fee of $300 to $500 per custom designed website. But for the entrepreneurs who are just starting or want to build it themselves, custom sites can get very expensive.

I have friends and clients who come to me and want to make a small site of maybe one or two pages and their budget just doesn't justify a custom designed website. Many have searched all over the internet for an affordable graphics package that just featured Web 2.0 graphics and couldn't find a package available.

They asked me if I could come up with something that was both affordable and didn't look like a template.

I went crazy with designing this graphics package.

My goal was to over deliver and I think I definitely accomplished this goal. I decided to give my clients a small graphics package at a fair price to start them off. As I kept getting more and more suggestions and requests I kept expanding the package and adding more graphic images.

All graphics are custom designed by me. None of the graphics are from royalty free disks or websites with the exception of the images of the major credit cards on the "buy now" buttons.
